Qatar Airways Boeing 787-8 A7-BCT was delivered Paine Field – Doha as QR3378 today. The aircraft is in 22J/232Y configuration and Large Logo/Medium Oryx livery. This brings the Boeing 787-8 fleet up to 20 aircraft.

Boeing 787-8 l/n 261, Qatar Airways A7-BCS, was delivered Paine Field – Doha as QR3250 today. The aircraft is in 22J/232Y configuration and Large Logo/Medium Oryx livery. This brings the Boeing 787-8 fleet up to 19 aircraft.

Jetstar B787-8 VH-VKH JQ12 Brisbane Diversion.

Jetstar Boeing 787-8 VH-VKH operating JQ12 Tokyo Narita – Coolangatta (depart Tokyo Narita 21st February) diverted to Brisbane this morning due to weather at Coolangatta. The aircraft later positioned Brisbane – Coolangatta as JQ7994.

Qatar Airways Announces Doha – Durban Service.

Qatar Airways today announced a 4 x weekly Doha – Johannesburg – Durban Boeing 787-8 service to commence on 17th December 2015. Schedules are as follows:

QR1367 Doha 0745 – 1520 Johannesburg 1620 – Durban 1735 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays.
QR1368 Durban 1900 – 2015 Johannesburg 2115 – Doha 0605+1 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays.

 

Air New Zealand B787-9 ZK-NZF Perth Flight Number Switch.

Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 ZK-NZF operated NZ175 Auckland – Perth today, however due to yesterday’s NZ176 Perth – Auckland having been delayed until this morning, it operated today’s NZ176 Perth – Auckland as NZ176D.

British Airways B787-8 G-ZBJC Overnight Hyderabad Delay.

British Airways Boeing 787-8 G-ZBJC arrived into Hyderabad this morning as BA277 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 15th February), however the return BA276 has been delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to a technical or a crew issue.

British Airways B787-8 G-ZBJA BA191 Heathrow Technical Return.

Boeing 787-8 l/n 108, British Airways G-ZBJA, operating BA191 London Heathrow – Austin was around three hours into the journey and well into the Atlantic crossing when it turned back to London Heathrow due to a technical issue. The flight and the return BA190 were subsequently cancelled.

Qatar Airways B787-8 A7-BCG Returns from Vienna.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, Boeing 787-8 l/n 116, Qatar Airways A7-BCG, departed Vienna this afternoon operating yesterday’s delayed QR184 Vienna – Doha as QR184D.

Virgin Atlantic B787-9 G-VOOH Delivered.

Boeing 787-9 l/n 256, Virgin Atlantic G-VOOH, was delivered Paine Field – London Heathrow this evening as VS827P. The aircraft is in 31J/35W/198Y configuration and Billboard livery and is named “Miss Chief”. This brings the Virgin Atlantic B787-9 fleet up to three aircraft.

Jetstar B787-8 VH-VKB Returns from Phuket.

Following its overnight delay, Boeing 787-8 l/n 134, Jetstar VH-VKB, departed Phuket this morning operating yesterday’s delayed JQ28 Phuket – Sydney as JQ28D.

Jetstar Boeing 787-8 VH-VKB operated JQ27 Sydney – Phuket today, however the return JQ28 has been delayed overnight. It is not clear whether this is due to a technical or a crew issue.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 29th January, Boeing 787-8 l/n 189, Jetstar VH-VKG, departed Denpasar this evening operating JQ38 Denpasar – Sydney.

Boeing 787-9 l/n 229, Etihad A6-BLA, entered service this morning operating EY23 Abu Dhabi – Dusseldorf. This was the inaugural Etihad Dreamliner service.
