Boeing 787-9 l/n 468, Air New Zealand ZK-NZJ, operated NZ105 Auckland – Sydney with a five and a half hour delay this evening meaning that the return NZ108 was not able to depart Sydney before curfew. The aircraft will therefore overnight at Sydney.

Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 ZK-NZE entered service this morning operating NZ103 Auckland – Sydney. This was the first Air New Zealand B787-9 service, however All Nippon Airways became the first to operate the Boeing 787-9 in service when it inaugurated service on 7th August.

Air New Zealand Formally Accepts B787-9 ZK-NZE.

Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 ZK-NZE was formally accepted at Paine Field today. The aircraft is in Black/Black Fern livery and 18J/21W/263Y configuration. This is the first Boeing 787-9 to be delivered to any airline.
